About the event

The seminar will be delivered by Professor Alexandre Erler (Associate Professor, IPMC, NYCU). 

He is a philosopher studying issues arising from new technologies with the potential to significantly transform society and the human condition, including artificial intelligence. He holds a doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and was a Research Assistant Professor in Philosophy and Bioethics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2017 to 2022.
